About us

Being alive means having life, recognizing existence, and being in a state of action Cultivating this feeling of being alive through the practice of mindfulness entails the awareness of the present moment and ourselves. This allows us to focus on who we are, what is, and how our actions influence our environment. The Alive project focuses on the practices of mindfulness and yoga for students to get connected to building awareness in their life and their values. By doing this, the connection between mindfulness and sustainability is explored because we act in accordance to our values, which influence our sustainable behavior. We aim to empower students so they can live a more fulfilling life through different mindfulness and yoga practices, while touching upon common subjects such as mental health, consumption, and lifestyle.
