EcoAngola is an NGO that promotes ecological sustainability and the social welfare of Angolan societies, in the development of a project focused on agricultural sustainable development in Angola. More specifically, this is a socio-environmental project involving the implementation of environmental and sustainable education through principles of permaculture with the goal of contributing toward agricultural innovation, as well as the development of young entrepreneurs in Angola.

We are looking for students who are willing to work together with the EcoAngola team to conduct a consulting project focused on the development of more sustainable agricultural practices, specifically permaculture, through the creation of an implementation strategy for the project. As a member of the student team, you are driven and committed to social issues, strive to have a positive impact in communities in needed, and work well in teams as well as independently. You process good problem-solving skills and enjoy conducting research on sustainable projects.

As part of the team, you have the combined responsibilities of conducting research for the project and in consulting EcoAngola, however specific additional roles may also be assigned.

Team Leader

Coordinates the project and the team, in addition to being the first line of contact with Erasmus Sustainability Hub and EcoAngola.

Marketing Lead

Ensures our social media is up to date with the progress of the EcoAngola Student Team and communicates with the Hub’s Marketing Manager when necessary.

External Relations Lead

Main contact for external companies or associations to gather more knowledge, host information lectures, and set up occasional fundraising events.

The approximate working hours in the EcoAngola Student Team is around 3 hours. This is just an estimate for you to keep in mind when considering extracurricular activities outside your study.
