Sex Work and Human Rights

➡️ About the workshop:

We go into the rules and regulations that exist, how to get started as a sex worker and what it means to be a sex worker. These lectures are given either by a sex worker themselves or by a sex work expert. Both can speak from their own experience and expertise of the topic

The topics we'll cover are:

• The current legal framework: the benefits and critiques

• How sex workers rent their spaces and what’s included

• How transactions between sex workers and clients work

• Security in the area and the role of the management companies and the police

• Stigma and discrimination that sex workers in the Netherlands experience

• Anti-prostitution/anti-trafficking agendas, and how they may harm sex workers more than helping them.
