AI makes us resilient, but AI introduces vulnerabilities of new kind. The list of benefits and concerns that comes out from discussion can be arranged into the three dimensions of sustainability environmental, economic, social. In conclusions we can see on which dimension of sustainability AI has more benefits than the other, and similarly what are the concerns.

Nina Benoit

Nina Benoit is the Director of Sustainability at Brightest, a TEDx speaker, keynote presenter, and dedicated climate activist. With a strong passion for helping businesses and individuals create a positive impact on both our planet and communities, she regularly shares valuable insights on sustainability to inspire meaningful change. A graduate of HEC Paris business school, Nina has established herself as a recognized leader in the sustainability space, particularly on LinkedIn, where she shares innovative approaches to sustainable business practices. Nina's expertise has led to high-profile speaking engagements, including at Google’s Paris office, where she addressed the intersection of AI and Sustainability. Deeply committed to fostering more equitable and sustainable future, Nina is passionate about empowering Gen Z to become the next generation of climate leaders.

Elvire is the co-founder and CEO of WeAreBrain, a multinational technology company with headquarters in Amsterdam and Kyiv. 

She was featured on the TheNextWomen100 list (top 100 Female Entrepreneurs) twice and and as of 2018 part of the EY Winning Women network, where EY supports Female founders from all over the world in their growth and succes.

Elvire is a passionate advocate on diversity and inclusion in the Tech sector. She finds herself at the cutting edge of tech development and data-driven digital marketing.

Founded in 2014, WeAreBrain helps companies translate their ideas and insights into successful and impactful businesses. With an transformative and multidisciplinary approach, we shape, build, and grow business critical digital products.

Marco van Hout

Marco van Hout explores the transformative role of AI in our society. As a designer, educator and facilitator for innovation, he combines the new opportunities AI promises with his pragmatic vision on methods, creative sessions and innovation culture, while keeping a close eye on its ethical, sustainability and cultural implications. 

As a Co-founder of two design agencies, more recently the Digital Society School, and currently his new startup Metodic.io, Marco is a seasoned transformation designer, UX researcher, and creative leader with over 20 years of experience in experience-driven design and community building. At the Digital Society School, he has helped establish a global community focused on leveraging digital technology for positive societal impact, leading initiatives such as a transformation design traineeship, a leadership program, and the acclaimed Design Method Toolkit. With Metodic.io, Marco supports starting and more seasoned facilitators by generating workshop-ready creative methods, toolkits, templates and session plans in minutes, so that preparation has never been easier.

In partnership with the UNDP, Marco co-founded the Global Goals Jam, a movement engaging thousands of design activists to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a Community Liaison for the World Design Organization, he champions design’s critical role in advancing the SDGs. Through his consultancy, Demadera, he supports individuals and organizations in applying transformation design for lasting impact.
